What island and valley life does to a car
Living out here is worth it. Your car pays for it, though.
Salt air. On Camano, salty marine air settles on paint and glass and leaves a film that dulls the finish over time.
Beach sand and gravel roads. Sand rides in on shoes and towels and grinds into carpet. Island gravel and dirt roads coat lower panels and wheel wells.
Birds and trees. Bird droppings and tree sap are acidic and can etch clear coat if they sit.
Farm dust and mud. Around Stanwood, field dust and mud season reach every crevice.
A proper exterior detail removes that buildup, and a protective sealant makes the next layer wash off easier. See exterior detailing

Stanwood and Camano FAQ
Do you come to Camano Island? Yes, north end to south end. We detail at your home.
What do I need to provide? Access to a water spigot and a standard outdoor outlet. That is it. More on what to expect
My car lives near the beach. What helps most? A regular exterior wash plus sealant. Sealant gives salt and grime less to grab onto, so it rinses off instead of building up.
What days do you work? Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Book at least 48 hours out.
