Why a "car wash" is not a detail
Run your hand over the paint after a regular wash. If it feels rough, that is bonded contamination: brake dust, rail dust, tree sap and road tar stuck to the surface. Washing cannot remove it. Decontamination and clay do. That is why the paint feels smooth as glass after an Exterior Renew, and why protection bonds better and lasts longer on top of it.
